3 April - Disaster Bay

Day event
Walk Coordinators: Lyn Evans and Phillip Kendall
Meet: 9:30AM at Corner of Princes Highway and Edrom Road (south of Eden)
Grade: Moderate
Distance: 8 km
Description: Terrain: Beach, rocky headlands, untracked forested slopes and
partly overgrown fire trails.

We will arrange a short car shuffle to enable a one way walk along the
spectacular rugged coastline of Disaster Bay south of the Greencape Road in Ben
Boyd National Park. Part of the walk is off- track through forest above the
cliffs, so gaiters/long pants are recommended. Lots of good views so bring your
camera. Swimming possibilities if warm enough on the day.
