Blue Mts 2017 Update Jeff has 11 'probables' at this early stage (+ a few 'possibles' ) and will likely make a provisional booking with Federation Gardens in Blackheath early in September for 16.
General preference seems to be 4 to a cabin. Sun to Thursday: March 12 - 16 (or 19 - 23 if that presents problems). A little earlier than originally proposed - more daylight hours and a bit warmer.
Jeff will need to be given your availability for both weeks, and will confirm once all responses are in. Deposit will be $70 per-person, the remainder due on arrival in Blackheath. The number of 'couples' and 'singles' will determine the specific types of cabin booked. There has been some feedback that the walks C,D and E might be better graded 'moderate-hard'. All three have fairly long descents & ascents, but are on decent tracks, and it won't be necessary to rush. Jeff's assessment is based on how knackered in comparison he has felt following various BVBW day walks. Jeff will book at least as many cabins as required, preferably as close together as possible.
Once the booking has been made, anyone else wishing to come on the walks may have to organise their own accommodation. No need to book for the camping weekends if you just wish to do one of those.
